Friday Night - Ben

One Friday evening four excited fairies jumped off the rainbow bus at their house in lady's comb on the Quantocks' Hills .

The fairies were wearing bright pink dresses; they had blazing blue eyes and nice smooth hair.

They flew as fast as their wings could go, to the secret back door in the elves mine. They were using the back door because they were very tired as they had been shopping all afternoon.

Their home was deep in an oak tree that was covered in ivy, all over the twisted oak tree trunk. If you go up to the tree and sit between the two oaks , the tree has emerald green moss all over it .
The fairies were shocked when they saw the elves mine door off its hinges .So the fairies flew down to the Friday meeting place to tell the elves about the mine door.

The elves and fairies went to the mine to fixed the door ,and investigate who may have done it . they assumed it was the evil dark elves of LADEY COMB trying to steal their gold.

The elves were startled to think the dark elves would come this far up lady combe. The bridge was damp but the elves and fairies crossed it safely but the next one was broken.

Upstream there was some wood so the elves built a boat and the elves and fairies crossed the stream by paddling and they carried on down the hill .

You should be at a tree that has a split down the side of the tree . the elves and fairies use it as a water slide bath.

The elves and fairies use this as a water slid because there is water at there bottom of the tree. The elves and fairies on Friday they go down to the slid and have a bath so they small nice .

The elves and fairies got there by walking down the hill . The tree trunk was covered in ivy with emerald green moss all over it .

The bark was loose and soft. The empty galls and the fur moss all over the tree trunk. The broken branches were covered with white frost.

The elves and fairies slid down the old hollow tree and they all became wet. It sounded like a massive swimming pool with shouting and screaming coming down the water slide. They all jumped out and jumped into their towels and clothes and went down the hill.

Every Friday the elves and fairies stole some beer from the lost city, that was an abandoned ant's nest.

The ants' nest was a lost city, it was made out of mud and twigs. It looked like a big mound.

The elves and fairies got their beer from the ants nest by digging it out with the elves tiny spades and when they found some, they would carry it out an roll it down the hill in barrels.

It smelt like a fox had been down and left a sent. It sounded like the ants' were coming to fight so the elves and fairies.

The elves and fairies approached the pub with their red berry lights shining and flickering.

They got to the pub and told the pub people about the door off its hinges whilst their beer was being poured .

From then on the elves and fairies decided to padlock their door when the when they went away. but the dark elves came again but the padlock did its job.
