The Royal Fairy Baby - Rose

Hello and welcome to Rose's story walk. This story will blow your minds but prepare your wellies because it is going to get muddy and very cold (well that depends if you go on my walk in the hot or cold). My walk will take about 35 to 43 minutes.

So if you would like to do my story walk then go up to Lady's Combe on the Quantocks. I really hope you enjoy this walk. Also it will hopefully get you more exited about wildlife and types of plants so keep your eye out. I should stop talking now, but one last thing this story is set exactly on Lady's Combe so you might see some little friends on the way. Goodbye!!

:)

Chapter one

The Big Search

One freezing winter's morning the fairy queen was brushing her long, silky and golden hair. Once finished, the queen walked down the twisted stairs and the maid served her a breakfast of blackberry preserve in a willow made bowl. (Although it wasn't a very good bowl, most of it just slipped through the willow and onto the floor).
Suddenly the elf guards rushed in and shouted. “The royal fairy baby is lost we cannot find her!”
“NO! Elizabeth my baby!” The queen screamed. While her bowl slipped out of her hands and onto the floor.
Just then she realized that she hadn't been wearing her crown she had LOST IT! So she called on a massive search to find her crown and Elizabeth her most precious
things on planet Earth.

The Boy

As the villagers and guards searched for the baby and crown, a fairy youngling went for a walk where fairies rarely go.
He felt the slushy, deep and sticky mud soak through his leaf like shoes, as the oak, birch and ash trees loomed above him.

James (the boy) had spotted something shining beneath a holly tree. It was the tiara, and wearing it was the royal fairy baby! The wind was screaming but James had found the royal baby and had to return her so he sheltered under the holly for a second, took a deep breath, picked up the baby and continued his journey…

Down the foggy, cold and slippery path-way he went. With the emerald grass tickling his freezing cold feet. He stopped and hugged the baby tight to his chest and carried on walking.

Chapter four

Hooray

Soon the sun began to shine and he arrived at “Mother's tree.” at there was Mother Nature and the queen. She had gone there so Mother Nature could calm her down. They were both dressed so elegantly and stylishly.
“Hooray, thank you my boy, you will be rewarded!” The queen gasped cheerfully and for the first time I one hour this was the first time the boy had see the baby smile.
